How to use
The Mount may be wood, clear acrylic or
some other material
The foam or cushion
provides “
padding” for the stamp so the image prints even
The rubber die contains the stamp design
1.
Trim the die using a sharp pair of
scissors (some of the stamps are already trimmed) leaving a very small border.
It is important not to undercut the stamp or the design will not print properly.
2.
Cut a piece of
slightly
larger than
the die and peel away the paper
from the sticky side of the cushion, and press
the die on to it.
3.
Use a sharp pair of scissors and cut the stamp design out,
leaving a border of a few millimetres. NB it is important NOT to undercut the
die. The cut should slope away from the design, not underneath it Practise on a
corner of the sheet first . It may be better to cut on the left side of the die.
4.
Press the cushion side firmly on a clear acrylic block. The
Kling-On will adhere time and time again to the acrylic block making it easy to
use different designs on the same block.
5.
Stamp your design. Clean your stamp and store on a clear
plastic sheet or holder.
We do
not recommend prolonged use of acetate sheets or cd cases which have a
high content of acetate (acid) to store your stamps on.
We
recommend that you use Dura-lar™
or Kling-On Storage sheets.

Use a stick
glue on the rubber only and then mount temporarily on an acrylic block
Adhere your die to a piece
of cushion with double sided tape and then mount permanently on a wood block
