Stamp two of the gold shoes on to the
front of the book cover in gold ink.
Melt the Black Utee I the melt pot or
melt on a craft sheet if you do not have a melt pot.
Ink up on of the Twenties stamps with
gold ink, and set aside.
Pour the utee onto the front of the
cover and stamp the stamp into it, pressing hard but not too hard. Leave the
stamp in to cool.
Gently pull the stamp out. Be careful
if you use clear stamps and they are not marvellous for this technique. This
process does not harm natural rubber.
Stamp a shoe on each corner of the book
insides and on the back cover in gold ink.
Glue the papers to the inside of the
book covers.
On a piece of spare black card, use the
alphabet stamps to stamp the words Journal, and edge with gold pen. Fix with
foam pads.
Bind it all together. I used silver
wires and then coloured them with a gold Krylon Leafing pen.
