Christmas Canvas

Ingredients

 

Alcohol inks

Meadow

Silver

Raisin

8 x 8 canvas deep edged

Silver or coloured wire

Stampbord assorted sizes

Fragments assorted sizes

Stamps Victorian Christmas Plate

Small tag

Cinnamon sticks

Cloves

Silver Embossing powder

Silver Utee

Chipboard books

Wire

Pearlescent powder paint -red

Silver card

Glossy Card

Glossy Accents

Black Adirondack ink

Black stazon

 

 

Method

Alcohol ink canvas with Christmas colours. Leave to dry

Stamp Merry Christmas on  deep edge in middle of canvas.

Use silver acrylic paint dabber on edges fading into middle of sides

 

Alcohol ink stampbord x 2 repeating similar colours of canvas

 

Alcohol ink 2 x small pieces of Clear Fragments. Leave to dry

Alcohol ink a glossy piece of card.

Using Silver Dabber paint a piece of chipboard. Leave aside to dry.

 

Cover chipboard piece in versamark, and cover with silver utee. Heat slowly until melted and repeat at least 3 times. Before last heating ink up Merry Christmas stamp with stazon, and immediately heat up utee until melted. Stamp directly into utee and leave stamp until cool. Gently pull off chipboard.

Repeat the above steps with the smaller piece of chipboard, and use the Father Christmas stamp.
Gently using finger add pearlescent powder to the stamp surface.

Set aside

 

Stamp 2 images with Black Stazon  on the inked stampbord.

 

On the 3rd piece of stampbord, apply silver utee, and using steps above stamp into it with camel stamp. Set aside.

 

On the fragments, stamp using 2 different stamps with Adirondack ink on the inked side, and immediately wipe off ink with clean cloth/paper towel

Turn over and glue with glossy accents onto silver paper.

Using the shiny card stamp Merry Christmas on it, and emboss with silver embossing powder. Cut out carefully.

Wrap cinnamon stick and cloves in wire, and attach clove to the stick.

 

Attach to the silver dabbered piece of chipboard. Add the cinnamon stick and cloves.

Edge all pieces except the fragments with silver Dabber paint. Leave to dry.

Glue all elements to the canvas.
